I forgot to mention that on Kyla Medina's website, the thumbnails are blank (because they are animated .GIF files). Click through to watch the whole series.
Also, during Harry's critique, I noticed that on his website the images loaded very slowly. Are you making sure to use 72 ppi? That's the accepted image quality for the web, and it ensures that everything loads as quickly as the website itself. Also, depending on what server you're using, it helps use as little space as possible. If you have any questions ask me or any of the designers, I'm sure they'll know too!

Out of convenience, I batched processed my images, and the free software I used didn't do such a great job compressing the images. It could also by my crappy web host. Thanks for the suggestions. :)
